Get to Know Dr. Leonard Strauss

Dr. Leonard Strauss has been a periodontist for over 30 years. He attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine for dental school and Boston University Goldman School of Graduate Dentistry for his periodontal training. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, the American Academy of Periodontology, and the Academy of Osseointegration. As a periodontist, he focuses on helping his patients retain their natural teeth whenever possible, and utilizing dental implants to replace natural teeth when it is not.

Outside of dentistry, he enjoys being outdoors, skiing in the winter and tinkering in the garden with his old tractor in the summer. He also spends as much time as he can with his wife and three adult daughters, two dogs, and two grandchildren.
